About the Album
I wanted this album to be different than my first Christmas album, Christmas Piano. While I love writing arrangements and putting my own spin on classic Christmas tunes, I’ve been thinking a lot lately about small moments – both in music and in life. That idea fueled the creation of Christmas in the Air. Each of the five arrangements I wrote is preceded and followed by an original interlude. And each interlude, only 30-60 seconds long, characterizes unique moments and feelings we experience during the holiday season.
